The architect Dr. Jens-Oliver Kempf leads from the newly restored St. Hedwig’s Cathedral – the first Catholic church after the Reformation – to Schinkel’s visionary Altes Museum and on to the unique Tieranatomisches Theater, an important testament to Enlightenment science architecture. All three domed buildings share the ancient architectural model in Rome. The walk sheds light on Berlin’s reception of the Pantheon and is accompanied by an exhibition.
